Hi there! I’m Gaia and I consider myself an amateur author/Illustrator. I taught myself how to draw 4 years ago and I’ve been creating ever since. I learned the basics from YouTube videos, Instagram and some personal lessons from Laura D in anatomy and color theory. But I credit a lot of my progress to my webcomics. In 2021 I started my first webcomic The Duchess and The Moon and earlier this year, I started my latest webcomic Assistant to the Mob. What’s great about having a webcomic is that it forces you to have a schedule and draw regularly. I try to draw every day. I love watching time lapse videos and learning new techniques. I read a TON of manga and view a lot of Chinese drama series. While I consider myself an author at heart, Illustrating is the skill I work on daily. I consider myself an amateur because I’m constantly learning and growing. I’m going to be posting my comics, stories and updates. I hope you’ll stick around for the ride.
